Dr. Bíró founded BiTrial Kft. in 2002, being sole owner and Managing Director of the company. Prior to start with BiTrial, from 1994 to 2002 he worked for Astra Zeneca Clinical Research Unit/ Central Europe as Clinical Research Associate than as Regional Senior Clinical Research Associate being involved in numerous clinical trials in different indications. Dr. Bíró holds Doctor of Medicine degree from Szent-Györgyi Medical University of Szeged and completed a postdoctoral residency at Semmelweis Medical University, Budapest from 1989 to 1994 achieving specialty in dermato-venerology and cosmetology.

Péter Hársfalvi, PharmD.

Director of Clinical Operations

Dr. Hársfalvi currently serves as Director of Clinical Operations. He joined BiTrial in August 2012 as Clinical Research Associate and have been working ever since in different clinical operations roles. Dr. Hársfalvi holds Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Semmelweis University of Budapest and a BA degree in Economics and marketing from Corvinus University of Budapest. In 2020 he received his degree in biostatistics and in the same year started the PhD at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest with main research interests in adaptive clinical trial designs and sample size calculation.
